Trainee Police Station Representatives

Interested in a career in criminal defence but have no legal qualifications?  If you are please read on.

We are looking to recruit a Police Station Representative or alternatively a trainee Police Station Representative.  We are prepared to invest time and money in the correct candidate even if they have no or little legal experience.

Over the years we have trained many individuals in this role and all have had very different backgrounds.  Some have come straight form a law degree, some have been ex-police officers while others have come from the retail sector. Your legal experience is not as important to us as your willingness to learn.  We will provide all the necessary training required to get you qualified as a police station representative.  If you are already qualified then get in touch now.

When qualified, the role will involve representing our clients at various police stations within and around South Wales.  It will also involve general case preparation and attending Crown Court with clients.  You must have a driving licence and car in order to attend the many courts and police stations both in and out of office hours.

Once qualified you will be able to take part in our out of hours police station rota.  Generally this will involve committing to a night a week and one weekend in six to attend the police station out of office hours.  We offer a fixed fee for every attendance out of office hours which offers the ability to earn significantly more each month.

The starting salary of £17,000 reflects the period of training required.  On qualification the salary will be reviewed.  Qualification can stake anywhere between 6 and 18 months depending on level of experience.  If you are already qualified then salary will be negotiable depending on experience.

We are a family friendly firm and have always been flexible with staff in terms of their families needs.  We offer good holiday terms and a significant number of extra days off over the Christmas period.  We are located in Newport City Centre an have ample off street parking for all staff.

In summary, this is an excellent opportunity for anyone wanting a complete change of career or to find a way into the legal industry.
